1. Products

• We specialise in raw wigs, raw bundles, styling tools, and hair accessories.

• Product descriptions and images are provided to give an accurate representation. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or appearance may occur due to screen displays or natural differences in raw hair.

• Hair lengths are measured from where the closure ends to the tips of the hair when straightened.

• Layered hair will be 2 to 3 inches shorter than the selected length because the strands are cut to create a layered effect. This is standard in wig production and does not constitute a fault.

• Blunt cut units: These units are cut to achieve the displayed look. You will lose approximately 2 to 3 inches of the original length when creating a blunt style. This is intentional and does not constitute a fault.

• Coloured hairs: There might be slight discrepancies in coloured units when recreating a specific look, as each unit is custom-coloured individually. This is a normal variation and does not constitute a fault.

• Head size: It is important to provide an accurate head measurement when placing an order to ensure the correct fit. We will not accept returns of wigs due to incorrect head size. A rewigging fee will be charged if adjustments are required because of inaccurate measurements provided by the customer.

2. Orders & Payments

• All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

• Payment must be made in full at the time of order through the secure checkout system.

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where fraud is suspected or payment is not authorised.

3. Delivery​

• Standard delivery times are estimates only; delays outside our control (e.g. courier delays, customs checks) cannot be held against us.

• Risk passes to you upon delivery, but goods remain our property until full payment is received.

• Please ensure that you provide your full and correct delivery address at checkout. We will not be liable for any delays, failed deliveries, or losses arising from incomplete or incorrect address details supplied by the customer.

4. Returns & Refunds

• You have a 14-day cooling-off period after delivery  for eligible purchases bought online.

• Due to hygiene reasons, wigs and lace products are only returnable if unused, unworn, and with lace uncut.

• Once the lace has been cut, no refund, exchange, or return will be accepted.

• Custom-made, personalised, or altered products are exempt from refunds or exchanges unless faulty.

• If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

• Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges in the UK for any orders placed through our Nigeria website or for items shipped directly from Lagos, Nigeria. Customers who make purchases via our Nigeria platform are subject to the return and exchange policies applicable to that region only.

5. Care & Use

• Raw hairs require proper care. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect handling, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions.

6. Liability

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. missed events, emotional distress).

• Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

• All website content (images, logos, product descriptions) belongs to Hair by Ginika and must not be copied or reused without permission.

8. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by applicable laws in the United Kingdom.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
